The kit is finished!

Today marked a milestone for Illinook. The Asphalt Plant kit that is the one and only industry for the Illinook module is completed! It took me about a month to build it, mostly because it was built a little here and a little there, with some extra hours kit building on Sundays where possible. The next step is to glue the various structures of the finished kit to the baseboard.

To help with this I had to find some information on the type of plant that it represents - a hot mix plant. The internet helped with that, and I found a PDF of how hot mix plants are set up, and what connects to what. So now all I have to do is find a way of setting it up on the Illinook module that is realistic for that type of plant.

Because space on the module is at a bit of a premium, I have been experimenting with possible options as I have been building the kit, and I think I have found a way to fit all the various elements in the space available.
