A new industry for the CSFT

By stanford - Posted on 29 January 2010

It seems like eons since I last did any real scenic work on the CSFT. But last night I started on a new low relief industry for the area next to Bluwall printers. For quite some time the area has been a bit of an eyesore.

About a year and a half ago, when the Van Loon branch was in existence on the CSFT, I scratchbuilt / kitbashed a structure which I called Indiana Aggregate and Construction Supplies which included a cement unloading shed - the same basic idea will be used to construct this new industry. A photo of the old cement unloading shed is shown below.

The plan is to have a dry cement unloading shed which will give me a place to send the short 2 bay covered hoppers I have other than the team track!

I already had the roof, although I am making some changes to make it more realistic. And the walls and base have been cut. I imagine it should be a fairly quick build.

More pics and posts will be posted as progress is made.
