Holidays = Lotsa Trains

By stanford - Posted on 31 March 2010

Have been on annual leave since mid March, and have had the opportunity to to take lots of photos and video of various trains and model trains. Photos are located in the following locations (in the Photo Gallery section of the site):

Zig Zag Railway, NSW - A 3ft 6in railway rebuilt on the old Lithgow Zig Zag track formation between Clarance and the Blue Mountains mainline between Mt Victoria and Lithgow - ZZR Photo Album
Walhalla Goldfields Railway, Victoria - A 2ft 6in narrow gauge mountain railway rebuilt on the old Moe to Walhalla narrow gauge formation between Thomson and Walhalla - WGR Photo Album

There are also some photos added of general railroad items for the Cooma (NSW) line, the stations and Crookwell (NSW), Oberon (NSW), Lithgow (NSW) and Trafalgar (Victoria) in the Australian Trains - Various Places album.

It also looks like there might be some more photos in the pipeline as I am going to explore a branch line about an hour from where I live, and have a general look around at various railway related things.

I have added some videos of the holiday to YouTube. Go to http://www.stanfordhosting.net/jimsjunction/node/74 to view them.
