Case Industrial Operational

By stanford - Posted on 12 April 2010

The track is laid, the wiring is completed. It's time to run a test train.

And so I did.

Case Industrial saw it's first 'train' yesterday - a GE44 tonner 'acquired' from the CSFT. It ran almost flawlessly. And it proves there are not shorts in the wiring! All the sector plates worked well, and the loco moved smootly over the other trackwork.

The next step is to do some scenery work, which means I will have to decide what sort of scenery Case Industrial will have. I am thinking it will be something like one of these:

Or I might even do something completely different and model just one industry. That would be a first for me - one industry on a layout - but it could prove to be an interesting option.
